I'm the founder of Hypervibrant, an innovation and strategy firm that helps teams get unstuck and bring big ideas to life through high-impact sprints and retreats.

I have 20+ years of experience across design, engineering, and product disciplines, for companies large and small.

I received advanced training in design leadership and collaborative innovation from SCAD in 2011, and have spent the past 13+ years putting that learning into practice while leading multi-disciplinary teams and innovative projects across a wide range of early-stage tech companies, as a founder, executive, early employee, advisor, and mentor.

I've also received advanced certifications in worksphop design and facilitation from AJ&Smart, and Design Sprint certifications from both AJ&Smart and Jake Knapp.

Hypervibrant embodies the full spectrum of my gifts, skills, and experiences, infused with a deep love for helping founders, creative leaders, and their teams cut through noise and dysfunction to unlock their true innovative potential.

Bringing new ideas to life is what I love to do, and creative facilitation is a fundamental part of how I do it.

Previously, I was the VP Platform Experience at Macrometa, leading all aspects of design and frontend engineering, as well as the creation of several vertical services and point solutions that were central to Macrometa's enterprise GTM.

Prior to Macrometa, I helped start Root System (cofounder, head of operations) and Orbit (cofounder, head of design), and have worked with a wide array of companies like Apple, Keen IO, and USAA.

I've worn many different hats in my career, often switching between design, engineering and product roles, or some briefly necessary combination thereof. I've also spent most of my time working with early-stage startups, which tend to favor high a degree of fluidity and adaptability.

I love learning new things, and learning to do things well.

I'll always identify first and foremost as a designer, but I have a deep love for software development and have spent a lot of time building apps and services for a wide range of use cases and industries. As much as I love designing beautiful and intuitive experiences, I also really love building a thing and turning it on.

It should be no surprise then, that I've spent so many years focused on developer experience, APIs, docs, and open source tools. I'm a builder, and I like building for builders. I've had a ton of fun trying to make complex products and services feel clear and intuitive, especially for such a famously outspoken and unforgiving technical audience.

These days, my day to day responsibilities have more to do with establishing and organizing teams to bring new ideas to life. My blended background simply lets me see through a number of different lenses at the same time, building trust, alignment and momentum quickly.
